Water Street Seafood & The Driftwood Lounge is a waterfront seafood restaurant located along the Susquehanna River at the head of the Chesapeake Bay in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
From Maryland crabs and fresh oysters to seafood favorites and handcrafted cocktails, every visit is designed to be more than dinner- it's an experience.

Our Story
Water Street Seafood was created from a passion for hospitality, fresh seafood, and a memorable experiences. Located in historic Havre de Grace along the Susquehanna River, we serve Maryland favorites, fresh oysters, seafood specialties, and handcrafted Driftwood Lounge cocktails.​
Owned by Theresa Riedal-Ray, Water Street was built on more than 25 years of restaurant experience and a passion for hospitality. Alongside her husband, Executive Chef Deward, his culinary team, and her son Owen behind the bar helping create a welcoming atmosphere, Water Street is truly a family-driven destination where locals and visitors come together for great food, handcrafted cocktails, and waterfront hospitality.
Before Your Visit
RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, especially evenings and weekends.
Water Street is a small, intimate restaurant and during busy periods there may be additional wait times for seating and freshly prepared entrees.​
We are unable to accomodate parties larger than six indoors, and deck seating is limited to groups of twelve or fewer.
Due to our building's age and layout, Water Street is not handicap accessible. We want guests to be aware of this prior to their visit so they can plan accordingly.
Waterfront dining is part of the experience - relax, enjoy the views, and savor the experience.

​Do you take reservations?
Reservations are highly recommended, especially evenings and weekends. You can email us at info@waterstreetseadoofhdg.com. Same day reservations must be made by phone.

Is Water Street Seafood handicap accesible?
Due to our buildings age and layout, Water Street is not handicap accessible. We want guests to be aware prior to visting so they can plan accordingly.

Do you accomodate large parties?
Indoor parties are limited to six guests, and deck seating is limited to groups of 8 or fewer.

Do you serve steamed crabs?
Yes, we serve seasonal Maryland steamed crabs, April through October. Reservations for crabs are required and availabilty may be limited.

What is the Driftwood Lounge?
The Driftwwod Lounge is our in-house lounge featuing handcrafted cocktails, whiskey, wine, craft beers and seasonal specials

Yes. Water Street overlooks the Susquehanna River in hostoric Havre de Garce.

Water Street Seafood is approximately 10-15 minutes from Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, making us a convient destination for fresh seafood, waterfront dining, and handcrafted cocktails during your stay.

Do you allow dogs on the deck?
For the comfort and safety of all guests, dogs are not permitted at Water Street Seafood, including on our deck area. Service animals are always welcome in accordance with applicable requlations. Emotional support animals do not qualify as service animals.
